The person under goes the complete booking process I.e., their information is gathered (including their charges), they are fingerprinted, photos are taken and they have a bond or court order which allows them to be released at that time. In case of a bondable offense, once a bondsman comes to the jail and post the bond you can then be released once you sign a contract with the bonding company.
